Like many Americans, we hate commercials.  Most of us use the mute button when they come on, or we channel surf just to avoid seeing them.

I have to admit I was doing the same thing, when one caught my eye.  For some strange reason I stopped and actually watched it.

The commercial was by Price Waterhouse.  It appeared during The Players Golf Championship.  The visuals were simple, but the words profound.

“Ability is the capacity to perform as well in routine circumstances as well as extreme and unexpected conditions.”

That’s it!  What does it mean to you?

Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

To me, this means being your authentic self, to be fully present, to know who you are without all the baggage that clouds that.

When you are your authentic self and fully present, you can’t help but perform to the best of your ability in any situation whether it is extreme or not and you do it naturally, without effort or having to think about it

Paulette, I love this quote. In fact, I am gonna hang it on the wall tonight.

“Ability is the capacity to perform as well in routine circumstances as well as extreme and unexpected conditions.”

Profound!

Paulette–the quote is awesome! I really believe that we should live life without stress and worry. The problem: BIG or small should get the same reaction! Time is too short to get upset. You can’t change things once they’ve happened. You just have to fix it, learn from it, and move on to bigger and better things! Life is truley great if you take the time to appreciate it!
Have a great day!

Zelda, thank you for your great spirit and truthful words. You are so right in that once something happens you cannot change it. All you can do is learn from it and deal with it.
You have great insight and look forward to reading future comments from you.
Have an awesome day!
