What’s in a Name

My name is Paulette Christian.  I’ve been a teacher, golfer, wife, sister, success mentor, realtor, entrepreneur and  Network Marketer.

Though I love teaching and being an entrepreneur, I learned a valuable lesson many years ago about the value of  creating a residual income that allowed me my freedom.  Thus one of the reasons why I’ve been in the MLM industry for over 27 years and loving it!

Change in the Air

Just a short 7 years ago I was a Realtor making good money.  I was what you call an independent contractor that got a 1099 at the end of each year, paid taxes like self-employment, social security, etc.  Once the year ended, I got to start all over again finding new clients, asking for referrals etc.  At the same time I continued to dabble in my very part-time MLM business.

I was making good money, but retirement would not be possible for me unless something really changed.  As a Realtor, something else was happening to my relationship with my husband.  I was spending long hours away, getting home late, and gone most weekends.  This routine was getting old.  My husband was the most important person in my life, and our relationship was suffering.

Bubble Bursts

Something definitely had to change, and it did– the real estate bubble burst.   I began re-evaluated this little part-time MLM business. I  started thinking how it could possibly pick up the slack and create more freedom and financial security in 3 to 5 years down the road.  I personally had no retirement.  I set out to learn how to dig the well before I needed the water.

An Awakening

Just a couple of years ago I was given this little book called “The Secret”.  There is a saying:  “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.”  I must have been really ready, because that little book and DVD connected all of my previous personal development books, the Bible and my faith together, and finally they all made sense.  From then on I knew that:

one of my greatest challenges to changing my life and creating more freedom and abundance lied in between both ears—it was all in my mind, and how I perceived my reality had to change.

A Shift In Understanding

Looking at my little MLM business I began asking different questions than I had in the past.  One very important question was:  How am I going to build this business??

I had been watching my upline working on the internet buying leads.  The cost was prohibitive for most people and definitely not duplicable.  Tho some of my upline were working with their warm market, most of mine were either in or out of the business already, and my circle of influence was limited.  So what’s a person to do?

After consistent due diligence on my part, and believing that “A Way” for me to build my business would manifest itself, it came to me from a very unlikely source.  One of my team members wanted me to meet a computer geek!  She happened to live in the same town as our summer home was.

OH NO! Have you ever told yourself you are NOT going to do something? or learn something?  Well guess what, the answer to my question came in the form of this awesome lady called Cenay Nailor.

Yes, she is a computer geek with a fabulous giving heart and the gift of being a teacher, especially for the fear of the computer  ridden folks like me.  This lady introduced me to Attraction Marketing and a whole new world of personal growth, confidence and knowledge developed.

When utilizing the Universal Laws of Success, especially the Law of Attraction, you want to work with an open mind and let the Law work for you.   Chances are the answers will not look like anything you expect.  So be ready, and never say “Never“.

Affordable Alternative

What my journey brought me to was affordable, produced results, and is financially beneficial.  I began building my “skill set” to encompass a brand new way of building my MLM business.  I’ve spent time, minimal money and lots of  effort to give myself the knowledge that I needed.  In fact, I’d say that in the area of computer technology I will be a life long student, just like I am of personal development.  I looked at several affiliate programs to partner up with and chose to only work with those that I could personally speak about.

I had the ideal business opportunity, something I could be proud of, that maximized my time investment, was run by people of integrity and helped others both physically and financially.  When my “due diligence” was over, I discovered a great marriage of my gifts and opportunity into a profitable system.

Vemma

An acronym for Vitamins, Essential Minerals, Mangosteen and Aloe, has a simple business model and a one product focus with three delivery systems.

B.K. Boreyko is the owner of the company.  His father and mother were one of the largest business builders in Amway and he and his family had the largest organization in Matol.

As a distributor, B.K. understands and knows the challenges we face out in the field every day.  I don’t know about you, but this is very important to me.

B.K. first founded New Vision in 1995.   Debt free, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, New Vision has over $1 billion in worldwide sales and has paid over $500 million in commissions.  Learning from the success of New Vision, Vemma was launched in November, 2004. 

Vemma gives a portion of all its sales to Health Corps, an organization founded by Dr. Nehmet Oz to educate children in schools around the country on better eating habits and overall health.

The Marriage of Two Great Ideas

I received my first check one year ago and have continued to do so every single month.  The business model allows me to benefit from the sales generated by people who I sponsor into the organization.  So, helping them succeed, directly affects my bottom line.  This leveraged activity means that I do the work once (get customers or get business partners), and continue to get paid on it for the life of that customer or partner.

So, I have spent the last few months aligning myself with professionals, like Cenay Nailor, who have been able to teach me how to use the tools and navigate thru the technology therefore be able to help my business partners succeed in this business.

I know that creating a system that anyone, regardless of their experience level, can plug into, will let all of us work smarter, not harder and become successful.
